Claudine And Ash “The River” Carryall

I’ve been very privileged to be given the opportunity to review a beautiful bag from Australia this week. Claudine and Ash graciously sent me The River – Carryall all the way from the land down under to share with everyone.

This super spacious bag of the week has been packed with the following:

  • 6 diaper changes
  • 1 wet bag
  • 1 bib
  • 1 glass jar
  • 1 spoon
  • 1 sippy cup
  • 1 water bottle
  • 1 tube of diaper cream
  • CJ’s Butter
  • disposable wipes
  • outfit change
  • makeup pouch
  • quick change pouch (included)
  • changing pad (included)
  • muslin blanket
  • hand sanitizer
  • lip balm
  • keys
  • wallet
  • 3 toys
  • board book

This bag does not feature exterior pockets, but it does have some very spacious ones inside. My sippy cup fit perfectly (as did my water bottle) in the side pockets. There’s also a very handy key fob inside of the bag. All of the hardware on this bag has a very classy rose gold finish that really pops with the black interior and floral exterior.

There is a wonderful zippered pocket inside of the bag, perfect for tiny and easily lost items and the removeable cross body strap.

The bag does come with a changing pad and a lovely matching quick change bag. I found the mini bag perfect for creams and wipes. These two items fit perfectly in one of the large interior pockets.

The other large pocket easily fit my book and muslin blanket.

Everything else lined up pretty well at the bottom of the bag. 6 changes, a wet bag, a glass jar, makeup bag and shopping bag slid right into their place in the bag.

On top of those; my wallet, phone, sunglasses, and 3 toys found their home.

This bag features a double zipper opening on the top. This is great for accessing everything at once with a large opening, or leaving the Velcro on the top and using the narrower opening on either side.

Even fully packed, this bag isn’t bulging. This means there’s still a bunch of room if you have any extra things you’d like to add or if your packing list is different than mine. I have full confidence in this bag’s capacity for a cloth diapering family. It even has feet on the bottom to protect it from sidewalks and wear so it will certainly last a long time. It has a beautiful pattern and no two bags are identical in the placement of the flowers, so your bag is one of a kind.
