As we approach Father’s Day, I’d love to introduce you to the DadGear Backpack. A lot of people love backpacks and with a toddler, I now understand why. This bag is an excellent option for both Mom and Dad and easily holds enough for two in cloth.

This week’s packing list includes:

  • 6 hybrid diaper changes (2 covers, 6 soakers)
  • 6 prefolds, 1 cover
  • 2 wet bags
  • 2 glass food jars
  • cloth wipes
  • muslin blanket
  • 2 books
  • 5 toys
  • 2 bibs
  • 2 sippy cups
  • cell phone
  • wallet
  • 2 bibs
  • shopping bag
  • Tide to Go
  • CJ’s butter
  • Advil
  • lip balm

The main compartment of this bag opens completely. This makes the stacking method for packing quite easy.

The front pocket folds and has a great key clip as well as two elasticized pockets, great for keeping a phone and wallet handy. There’s also a large pocket that’s great for an ipad or other tablet as well.

The center pocket is similar to the front one but a little larger. It’s great for storing the included changing pad, small knick knacks, and books.

The top pocket fit a ton of toys too!

The side mesh pockets easily fit both sippy cups and the zippered side pockets were great for the glass food jars. One of the great things about this bag that sets it apart from the other backpacks I’ve recently reviewed is that it has stroller straps. That’s been on my wishlist while reviewing the backpacks lately and it’s almost like DadGear read my mind.

DadGear also has a wipes pocket that’s easily accessed from the front of the bag, perfect for messes on the go.

All in all, I really like the DadGear backpack. It’s budget friendly (under $100), has lots of pockets and a bunch of space. It’s definitely great for mom or dad and very practical.
