This week, I’m reviewing another non-traditional diaper bag- the Journey Five Chic Chevron XL Bag. This is a great every day bag, a wonderful beach bag, and it is large enough for multiple babies in cloth for an all day outing.
This week’s contents include:
- 12 diaper changes (12 soakers, 4 shells)
- 2 wet bags
- 1 changing pad
- muslin blanket
- 2 sippy cups
- 2 glass food jars
- 1 water bottle
- 1 shopping bag
- 2 bibs
- 4 toys
- 2 books
- first aid kit
- makeup bag
- cell phone
For a base layer, all 12 diaper changes and 2 sippy cups fit perfectly on the bottom of the bag.
There are 3 pockets on one side that are great for small things like keys, phones, bibs, etc. There’s a slightly larger one on the other side that fit my changing pad perfectly.
As you can see, my bag is quite stuffed. One really nice feature of this bag is the added strap closure on the top. I would not have been able to secure my bag without it because I do over pack quite a bit for these reviews.
This bag retails for about $60 but does go on sale from time to time. At the time of this review (7/29/15) it is on sale for $23 directly from Journey Five.
