Lily Jade Elizabeth Diaper Bag and Baby Bag Organizer

This week’s review is a little different than what I typically do. I was given the opportunity to review the Lily Jade Elizabeth Bag. This is a very luxurious designer diaper bag that ranges in price from $190-$295 depending on the color you choose. One of the first things I’d really like to point out about this bag is the included Baby Bag Organizer that can also be purchased on it’s own for $49. I really love the removable organizer in this bag. I’ve used the Skip Hop Duet with a similar concept of a removable insert and was not overly impressed with it for cloth diapering purposes. The Lily Jade definitely surpassed it, both in looks and functionality. The fact that you can pack up the removable organizer and switch it between bags is great. I found it particularly useful because I don’t carry a purse. It made it possible for me to remove the diapering goodies, leave them with the babysitter, and continue on date night with a bag that looks like a normal purse. I also love that Lily Jade advertises with cloth diapers- Applecheeks peek through the pockets of the bag in their interior photos.

As the weather continues to get warmer, my packing list keeps evolving. This week’s list includes:

  • lip balm
  • Tide to Go
  • Advil
  • bib
  • muslin blanket
  • change of clothes
  • water bottle
  • shopping bag
  • sippy cup
  • wipes
  • 3 toys
  • glass food jar
  • board book
  • wallet

  • changing pad (included with bag)

The inside of the baby bag insert has 2 pockets that each fit 2 stuffed envelope covers or 2 cotton soakers. It also has a zippered pocket; great for the tiny goodies.

There is also a small pocket on each side of the interior that is perfect for holding a bottle or sippy cup. I forwent using the inside ones as I was packing a lot of diapers and needed my space. I opted for an exterior pocket of the organizer for sippy cup storage as well as the changing pad. There’s actually a bunch of pockets on the outside of it, perfect for keeping everything you could possibly need in an easily accessible place.

It really is a wonderful organizer! The interior of the Elizabeth diaper bag also has a zippered pocket and 2 larger pockets as well.

The organizer and bag also have magnetic snaps to keep the organizer in place and the organizer falls right into place, fitting perfectly inside.

There’s still plenty of room on top of the fully packed organizer to add a muslin blanket and toys to the top of the bag.

The front of the bag has two small pockets, perfect for keys, sunglasses, digital cameras, and phones.

There are also two tall pockets- one in the front and one in the back. They easily fit a wallet or board book.

One of the other really lovely things about this bag is the versatility. It can convert from a tote to a crossbody to a backpack in a matter of seconds, simply by unsnapping and rearranging the long strap that comes with it.

This really is a lovely bag. It’s perfect for the new mom or experienced mom. I think it would even make a great back to work bag for carrying a breast pump or simply a mom bag. It has the capability to grow with mom and baby and is adaptable to mom’s needs as time goes by.
