The 31 bags Zip Top Utility Tote is making its way around the cloth diapering world and has received wonderful reviews. It’s not technically a diaper bag, but it does make a very functional budget-friendly alternative to some of the more costly options out there. A representative of the company who happens to be a Fluff Love & CD Science member was so kind and lent one to me to review for the blog. It does not have a lot of bells and whistles, so I do recommend either using a wet/dry bag or an organizing insert inside of it to keep things separated.
This week’s contents include:
- 6 diaper changes (6 soakers, 2 shells)
- wet/dry bag
- outfit change
- glass food jar
- sippy cup
- first aid kit
- makeup bag
- board book
- 3 toys
- shopping bag
I opted for my Skip Hop Grab & Go Wet/Dry Bag to organize a little bit. All of my small stuff went in the front dry pocket to keep it easily accessible.
There are no interior pockets to this bag, so I lined everything up in two layers- diaper changes on the bottom with snacks and whatnot, and toys/mom things on the top.
The exterior pockets are very roomy, big enough for my water bottle and sippy cup.
This is a great bag for $35. It’s not the most ideal for a family of multiples, unless it is used for a short outing, but for a bag to hand off to a babysitter or an overnight bag for a single child, it’s a wonderful option. It does not have all of the fancy features of a traditional bag, but if that is not important to you, you really cannot beat it.
